"Nebula"
What is a 'cause'? The word holds
different meanings for all of us. Many years ago, I would join or
give support to one 'cause' or another, then lose interest and move
on. Now things have changed for me, and I do support a few specific
causes. After my experiences that led me to Washington, I learned
just what is important to me. What touches my soul and stirs my passions
and in some cases, raises my Irish. *Smile*
Two organizations that I have pledged my membership to are the Sisters
of the Golden Moon, and the Sisters of Gaia. Each is a gathering of
beautiful, talented women, who have joined together to write, to express
their feelings and share their own causes, to make us a united whole.
Please visit their sites, and perhaps join our ranks as well.
My place among the stars of the
Sisters of the Golden Moon is that of Golden Persona of Reflections,
a part of the Scribes Constellation. We share our poetry, our Memoirs,
our Deepest Thoughts, and Poetry, and have a monthly E-Zine that is
published with a different theme each month. Please come and visit
us!
The Sisters of Gaia is another group of beautiful and talented women,
banded together to celebrate our lives, and all the aspects. I am
Mistress of the Realm of Union, where we celebrate our bonds to a
lifemate, be it in marriage or in a life bond. Again, I welcome you
and urge you to visit the Sisters of Gaia. These tricky ladies also
love to surprise their sisters with birthday gifts! To see what I
mean, click here!
Another realm of my life that is very important to me and how I live
my life, is my study of Wicca
and the pagan path. Though we are in a modern age, there is, sadly,
a great stigma attached to my path and those who like me, follow it.
"People fear most what they do not understand." And this
is sadly true. I am a solitairy practioner of the Wiccan Way, and
despite Hollywood's finger-painting of our ways, and the wive's tales
and legends that have followed through the centuries, we are not evil
people. We do not perform sacrifices while garbed in dark robes, or
worship the Devil. I live by two simple codes, The Wiccan Rede and
the Law of Three. The first, a lengthy work, can be summed up by its
final two words - "Harm None." The second, is a simple belief.
Whatever action we take, be it for good or ill, will be visited back
upon us Threefold. That in mind, I would far rather do good and be
blessed for what I do, than to try to harm another, and be harmed
thrice.
Please continue on with me, as I have more to share, as time goes
on. For now, I bid you Bright Blessings, Merry Party. Go if you must,
stay if you will.
